I have an exciting announcement to share with you all today! It is my sincere joy to tell you that thanks to your incredible support, we have sent in the deposit for the first Sanctuary in Romania.

We are celebrating big today, and we hope you are, too! This thrilling new chapter comes from your commitment.

We've got a long way to go to the finish line. In fact, we have a long way to go to the starting line. But we want to take a moment to pause and celebrate God's generosity and your generosity.

We want to say thank you for your support, your encouragement, your financial gifts. We're so excited for what the future holds for survivors in Romania and around the world. We are so grateful to start this year off with such a huge win in the battle against trafficking.You made it possible. Thank you, and we appreciate you. Talk, Think, and Pray

Dear Friends, I’m writing you today with such a thankful heart. You are a part of the very foundation of Uncaged. I am also grateful because today our team is celebrating freedom for two more women. You may have read a recent article in the news about 29 Romanian women and girls who were rescued in the UK. Our Uncaged team in Romania had the heartbreaking task of choosing just two of the young women to be taken into our program. We chose two ladies who had young children with them. The mothers and children are in rough shape — but they are on their way to healing. One of them, Catalina* told us, "My daughter has learned to smile again. God is real and He is good to us! Thank you for giving me hope again!"

In a sense, we were able to double our impact by rescuing two moms and two children. But our hearts break for the other 27 ladies left behind. At this point, there is no place they can go to be restored, transformed and truly freed from their trauma.

All that makes me incredibly motivated to get the first Sanctuary up and running. I mentioned that we ‘doubled our impact’ with the women we rescued. And now you have an incredible opportunity to double your impact. A generous family has offered to match all gifts received between now and the end of the year, up to a total of $850,000. That means your gift will be doubled!

We’ve identified the property. It’s perfect. And it’s waiting for us. All we need now is the funding to make it a reality. With your help, we could open the first Sanctuary in the first half of 2020!

I hope you will talk, think and pray about the incredible need — and this incredible opportunity — as you make plans for your year-end giving. As we look to make a deposit on the property before year-end, we need all the help we can get. In the meantime, please pray for us, our team and the 29 survivors who are so very close to freedom.

Two Incredible Opportunities

Friends, I’m so grateful for you! So many of you have encouraged me this year with your prayers, interest, gifts, and words of encouragement! As we wrap up 2019, I want to share a quick report with you — and make you aware of an incredible opportunity as you are considering your year-end giving.  Our Romanian team, faithfully led by Beni and Rodica Lup, has rescued 45 women and children this year. 45! Beni and Rodica have now rescued over 700 trafficking survivors to date. There is a massive need in Romania. In fact, 65 percent of survivors found in Europe are Romanian. So it makes sense that God has us focused on Romania as the site of our first Sanctuary.

God has directed us to the most incredible piece of property in Romania.

It’s 230 acres on a green hilltop, covered in orchards, streams, and ponds. It includes several cozy cottages that will sleep 60 survivors, and large buildings where we can provide trauma-informed programming for hundreds of women and girls at a time. There are even 12 ponies for equine therapy! This facility is move-in ready, and is far bigger and better than anything we could have asked for or imagined. The best news is that it comes at a fraction of the cost we had anticipated for our first Sanctuary.

More good news: A generous family has offered a match gift of $850,000. They will match any donation to Uncaged, dollar-for-dollar, up to $850,000. In other words, every new dollar pledged will be doubled. So, if we raise just $850,000 in new contributions, we can buy the property! That means we can begin bringing trafficking survivors to a place of peace and safety where they can begin the journey to restoration.

The property is waiting (and it’s perfect for our needs). Half of the funds have already been committed. Now, I’m asking if you will help us make the dream of the first Sanctuary a reality. We have no doubt it will happen. There is no doubt that God’s heart is for these women and girls. As I always say, He wants this work done! We are so grateful for what you’ve already done and just want to present this opportunity to you as you plan your year-end giving.
