The Sanctuary Survivors Need to Heal
Survivors need a safe place to heal. The Sanctuary is our center for trauma-informed care in Western Romania.
Our model of holistic healing combines medical care, trauma-informed therapy, and the skill-building survivors need.
The Sanctuary will also host anti-trafficking training for a broad coalition of abolitionists.
The sanctuary will double our capacity
Our team in Romania has been operating for over 15 years. Incredibly, they have served over 700 survivors, about 40 every year.
We are ready to reach even more survivors! In the very first year of The Sanctuary being open, we aim to serve 100 survivors. In the second year, we’re planning to reach 144.
With the Sanctuary open, our capacity doubles in 2021. The following year, it TRIPLES!
